game loads up fine but when i hit connect from the password screen it just stays at the "Loggin in to game please wait" screen and never moves on to character screen. is anyone else having this problem? both my son and i on seperate pcs have the same issue

I am trying to complete the "At Long Last" quest. When I try to turn in my Dark Spirits to the Fuwa Envoy, he does not have the quest. What do I do with these Dark Spirits?
