This guide serves as a purpose to help those who are struggling with leveling in the Classic server.


Level 1 to 15

• Do the mandatory quest, you won't get level 15 so farm on the last mobs (in front of the portal to Jadeon) until you're 15. You should have an esper if you did the mandatory quest, set it to attack any monster and go afk for a bit.


• Quiz Bowl is announced 5 minutes before 19:00 and has a set of 30 questions in which you'll have to answer correctly to get points. The more points you get, the more experience and rewards. Participation reward is 5 Taichi Pills and max score reward is 55 Taichi Pills. Once the quiz is over, quiz beasts spawn in the realm of the winner (announced). Each of them give 400k exp per kill and take 1 min and 10s to respawn. Lasts until 20:15.

Level 15 to 30

• Mandatory once again, you won't get a ton of levels but it helps quite a bit.


• Crisis is available from level 15, you can take the quest from Anan in Jadeon at 18:00 to 20:00 (server time), it will take you around 18 minutes to complete the quest, just make sure you have a talisman of each to do the last pillar, as it requires a random talisman. It gives you 25 Taichi Pills and it's daily.


• Alliance Career is available from the Alliance Master, it costs 20 Gold but it gives you 40 Taichi Pills in return.


• The Donation from Nura in Sunstream is available at the cost of 15 Gold, you will walk quite a bit in Billows but you'll get 25 Taichi Pills


• The Precious quest is given by Isamu next to Sunstream's Skylord where you go on a small treasure hunt. Be careful since the monsters around the spot that you need to find the treasure can do 200 damage each hit. For 15 Gold to start the quest, you will receive 30 Taichi Pills.

Even though you might not have enough gold for every of these quests, they will still be useful until level 150, so don't forget about them.

Level 30 to 45

• Hero's Course is available after level 30, the reward varies on the amount of honor that you've donated, so be sure to donate frequently to your faction.


• Dispel the curse - You can get this quest at the Black Ops NPC in Sunstream (in front of the Alliance Master), the monster is a bit tough on HP but it gives a decent amount of raw experience.


• Astral Tales. Grab some people at your level and get the quest from the Astral Guard in your city. You can do this quest as many times as you can, you'll only have from 20:30 to 22:30 to kill the bosses. Make sure you have empty slot bags for the items that the bosses drop. Massive amounts of experience if you killed all 7 bosses.

Level 45 to 60

• Sky Dweller's quest will be available to you now, you'll need to collect some items for him which are in Sunstream and you'll receive 50 Taichi Pills. All you need is a Skyblade.


• Sky Lotus. After doing Sky Dweller's quest, you'll receive an item that lasts for 1 hour. You can turn it in at Sky Dweller for 25 Gold. In return you get a quest to pick up similar items in Jadeon and you'll receive 50 Taichi Pills.


• Fishing Mastery - You can fish from certain times using a single bait given by Ami, if you're lucky, you'll receive a fishing certificate. Deliver it to the Roaming Fisherman next to Ami for 10 bait, you can use it in Billows from realm 1 to 5 at 18:00 to 19:00. You can receive a good amount of Taichi pills and money.


• Mystic Tome at Elder Matchmaker in Sunstream, you'll have to kill 99 hornets in Jadeon (use a pet and basic attacks, they dodge all skills). After that, you'll deliver it back to the Elder in where you'll get one of 3 tomes, Matchless Beauty --> Talk with Anan in Jadeon (403, -193), Happy Farmer -> Talk with Zaxin in Sunstream (-371, 373) or Pickax Expert in Sunstream (-242 271), River Side Immortal --> Talk with the SkyDweller in Sunstream (163, 106). The answers are random, as for the rewards, you get either 50 pots and 100 Merit Incenses, or 50 Taichi pills and 100 Merit Incenses.

Level 60 to 90

• Sleepless is your friend. You can take a quest from your local physician to kill monsters for 24 hours straight, or until you deliver it. The quest will accumulate 50% of the base monster exp per kill. This will be a huge part of your daily grind from now on.


• Celestial Trial. You can take the quest from Guardian Sainth in Jadeon to kill 10 Celestial Vanguards. They must be killed solo or you must deal the most damage per second to the CV. You can do this quest up to 5 times per day and each will give you 25 Taichi Pills and a pet goodie. I do NOT recommend this quest unless you have people with lower damage helping you, have an amazing pet or you're a lupin/vim/demonic modo to solo it.


• Honorable mention: Treasure Hunt. Feeling low on gold? Treasure Hunt from Sky Dweller can be done up to 3 times per day, all you need to kill are CVs and you'll get gold based on your level.

Level 90 to 150

• Battlegrounds are available starting level 90 and you can do them 10 times per day. You need to kill a few towers for some good experience. All you need to know is that you can buy good battleground buffs to speed things up and the most important part, you get experience based on % damage dealt to a monster. So if you do 50% damage to an enemy, you get 50% experience. (Not all backgrounds are unlocked at the moment of this guide, only lv90-104 and 105-119)


• All of the above. It will take a while but if you keep grinding dailies + farming non stop, you will eventually get to 150.

Extras: Lunar Blessings from GJ lotto on the website/VIP rewards. Each of them makes you kill 8 bunnies for 10 Taichi Pills + 300k experience, it's a slow process but helps a bit.
Taichi Pills pack from GJ lotto, each gives you 100 Taichi Pills but are a rare pull.
