Issues with the LVL48 Coupon Reward

So I tried to do the  LVL148 Weapon event and I went to the award manager, however, she took the coupon and I didn't receive anything. Apparently, the quest is broken and you lose the coupon... 
Will this get fixed?
Will those that lost the coupon still get the weapon once the quest is no longer broken?
