One of the main problems Balo have is that their main tank skills provide minimal tanking abilities, as it lacks things such as a raja/invulnerable effect (mage/forta/sylia/vim) or another form of damage immunity (gevrin/sylia/celan).

Although not Balo, another faction which suffers from this is Kytos. These "tank" classes in their current state are massively outclasses by other factions (seira/hydran/sylia/forta/gevrin), whom have skills which are far tankier (shroud/imp/hu immunity list + gevrin just immune to anything), last longer, have a lower cooldown (100+s cd on kytos DV), and the faction damage output in incomparably higher.

This is fixed in a later patch (Wonderous Battle) as listed below:

Ancient Soul (All Versions) ~
AS will also now be immune to the following effects:
Oppressed (DEF Reduction), Breached (DEF Reduction), Knock back, Confusing Curse (C.rate Reduction), Shattered Will (C.shield Reduction), Scattered Resistance, Heretical Curse (Skill Dmg Reduction), Burning, Transform, Disguise, Palsy, Fire Curse*, Punishment, Blood Flow, Petrify, Convulsion, Residual Frost, Time Loop
Removed the Taunt immunity from AS

The biggest impact of these is as follows:
Burning - Mage Blaze of Janos <Sky> provides a 40s cd skill that will kill instantly through Ancient Soul
Scattered Resistance - Balo for the most part rely on crowd control through stuns/etc which is impossible with these debuffs
Palsy/Residual Frost - Currently these buffs make it impossible to keep Ancient Soul active as the skills are incredibly punishing

Another major impact on Balo which is resolved in a later patch is how Iron Guts works.
I raised this before, but Iron Guts transfers 70% of damage taken to your SP. This is not functioning properly, as with all SP shields (modo/mage/jadeon), as the damage taken to SP is not affected by damage reduction or affinity resistance.

I would suggest the same line of thought regarding fixes for all factions. Focus efforts on provided the various skill buffs and nerfs from each future patch (perhaps up to a certain point).

Maybe put it to a poll, but I think people would be happier to have the next, for example, 10 patches of skills being worked on and provided, before work is done on a new race/faction.
