VIP lvl question

Hy. I am new on this server. I have a question regarding VIP lvl:
Once you hit VIP6 , is it permanently or needs to be renewed every month? Can someone explain the VIP lvl mechanism? Btw, i speak about VIP lvl with real money, not in-game vip lvl.
